Learn what it takes to be one of our youth leaders – a KBG Force Captain. KBG Force Captains organize and lead the organization to achieve the goals, mission, and vision of the organization. This FREE training retreat will get you ready to go into the community and promote the KBG program to your peers as a tobacco and nicotine-free ambassador. But it’s not just about being tobacco and nicotine-free leader. The KBG Leadership Program gives you a multitude of skills that you will need in your everyday life – and to be a successful adult! KBG Force Captains get trained in public speaking, event planning and implementation, tobacco education and prevention, leadership skills, life skills, and SO much more. Of course, we have fun while doing all of this!
It is FREE to participate with the KBG and we like to give out incentives and swag to our youth leaders. By the time you leave this event, you will not only be enriched with new skills, lifelong friends, trainings, but you will be decked out with KBG gear and swag! (In the past our Force Captains have received Duffel Bags, ¼ Zip Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Polo Shirts, Long Sleeved Shirts…and the list goes on.)
This year’s theme has to do with Autumn…and…Halloween (official theme to be revealed soon).
