The time has come – it is time for Delaware to be tobacco and nicotine-free!

Join us at the 2023 KBG Youth Summit to gain knowledge and skills to help keep your peers tobacco and nicotine-free. Additionally, help dispel Big Tobacco’s myths as they continue to target youth with their products.  Help spread the truth about tobacco and nicotine in your schools and community.

Event Details:

When: Wednesday, November 8, 2023 – 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Where: University of Delaware Clayton Hall

KBG Forces from around the state are participating in the KBG Youth Summit! The free event will be on November 8th at the University of Delaware. It will educate the state’s youth about the dangerous marketing tactics used by Big Tobacco and equip them with tools to tackle tobacco-related issues in their schools and communities. 

The Summit Highlights:

  • Interactive workshops on Mental Health and Tobacco Use
  • Vaping, E-Cigarettes, and Menthol
  • Networking opportunities with peers from across the state
  • And did we forget to mention the chance to WIN PRIZES!
  • Lunch and Snacks provided!
  • FREE for Delaware youth to attend.

Join the movement! KBG has lead the change by:

  • Advocating for Clean Indoor Air Act (CIAA) and helped Delaware pass one of the strongest CIAA. The KBG educates thousands of youth and teens annually, keeping Delaware youth aware of the dangers in all tobacco and nicotine products. Smokeless tobacco is on the rise—high school males using smokeless or spit tobacco now represents 10.9%
  • Successfully putting higher taxes on tobacco products 
  • Helping to pass the law that raised the age for purchasing tobacco products to 21

*Transportation will be provided and organized by your KBG Force*

KBG Forces will be reserving buses or other forms of transportation for the event. Transportation for those youth attending will be free.
